Lately I've been working in a new identity for a local company, and their only request is that it has to be a only type logo. Then I started researching some typographic logos at Logopond, and it was a great step in my concept development.



During this process, I've noticed that for me, working with a typographic logo is much more challenging than working with with the traditional ones, type + image. Type logos tend to demand a much better concept, since it gotta deliver the right message with less elements.
Also, this kind of logotype gives us a nice opportunity to work with type, which is always a good exercise. But I would like to know from you, what do you think about type logos. Do you prefer traditional over type? Which typographic logos do you enjoy the most? And of course, if I've missed any, please drop us a comment! We'd really appreciate it!
